SAXON - THE EAGLE HAS LANDED
This band is pretty well loved in this group so it's no surprise that they should get an entry...
The Eagle Has Landed is the first live album by heavy metal band Saxon and the first album featuring their long time drummer Nigel Glockler. It was recorded during the European leg of the world tour supporting the album Denim and Leather and released in 1982. The album reached no.5 in the UK charts. It also won the British Heavy Metal live 1982 Award.
Honestly, I'm not a big fan, however, I totally respect the following that they have so, for me, it's a fair enough placing and a nice little way to start off this week in the poll.
The question we need to ask is though, is....is number 29 gonna make or break today? 🤔🤔🤔
Saxon fans, loving this entry or feel its wayyyyyyy to low? Non Saxon fans, comfortable enough with this or is it a case of WTF? The stand is yours....
