Greetings and salutations, rockers! After nearly five long weeks, we're finally into our top three, and blazing in with the bronze star is, Songs For The Deaf.
Songs for the Deaf is the third studio album by American rock band, Queens of the Stone Age, released in 2002. The album features Foo Fighters and former Nirvana member Dave Grohl on drums, and was also the last studio album to feature Nick Oliveri on bass. This album is regarded by most fans and critics as the band's best album.
"Songs for the Deaf is a great, hulking slab of hard rock at its purest: all mysticism, cheap hooks, and irresistible headlock grooves." - Spin. Ranker placed Songs For The Deaf at #5 on their list of Greatest Rock Albums of the 2000s, and Metacritic gave this album a very impressive 92/100 - the highest of any album in our top 50.
This album only received three fewer votes than our winner, so this could have been our champion on any other given week. How highly do you rate this album, and is it worthy of its bronze star?
